I hammered this out of a single used horseshoe, split the point and curled one part around for the hook, then hammered out a point and turned it into a loop on the end of the handle and put a twist in the front of the handle. It is about 2 Feet long, 2 inches wide at the hook, the handle is about 9 inches long including the loop and weighs about 3/4 of a pound. The opening in the loop is about 3/4 of an inch. I finish it with wax, which gives it a blackish color.
